The Beginning
My name is Randall Andrews. I am 43 years old, a father of five, a husband of 18 years, and a lover of engineering whether physical or digital systems. I am the biggest fanboy when it comes to anything new that not only performs excellent but also exhibits a beautiful elegance while doing it. Function and beauty make the most perfect combination when innovation is the only answer to a problem.
The Transformation
I have spent the last twenty years of my life diagnosing, repairing, designing, or building complex physical systems. I have worked on everything from lawnmowers to natural gas power plant infrastructure. I have designed and optimized systems from yearly failing water pumps on diesel generators all the way to complex computer controlled, electric/hydraulic wire twisting systems for General Cable that spins thousands of tons of copper wire to build high current power wire for industrial uses.
I did that until the day I couldn't. I almost died from sepsis. I had a couple major surgeries and the ability to use my physical tools were taken from me by no fault of my own. So instead of feeling sorry for myself, I sat down at my PC and built an entirely new toolbox for myself.
The Digital Renaissance
I left the only version of myself that I had known and loved for the last twenty years behind and took that knowledge of physical systems I had taught myself and applied that same diagnostic mindset to software. Not only did I get really good at it, but I have written software that isn't just going to make people's lives better, it is going to revolutionize at least one industry in particular that affects us all, transportation, or more the costs of maintaining that transportation.
The Ecosystem Vision
Each component feeds another one in an entirely circular ecosystem of hardware and software, from powering it, to restoring the environment around our datacenters in the process, proactively and intentionally repairing what industry has done to our planet.

The Mission
I know this has been long winded, but I wanted to share how I put down all my observations growing up and living in this world into code and designed blueprints to try to do what I think we all want to do. I want to leave this world better than I found it. Not just for my children, but for me. I just did what I always do. I examined the problem from first principles and found a way to fix them so that the symptoms that we see and feel are ruled obsolete.
